Main disadvantage:

Design and Build
FNF iFive Mini 3GS looks really nice, easy to hold in one hand and the OGS panel contribute to appearance when the screen is OFF.
My only complain about this tablet is that it doesn't fill as solid as iPad or other high quality tablet, you can hear Creaking noise when you press the edges around the screen, during daily use won't notice it- but for me it's really disappointing.
The Volume+power button located on the top of the device next to microSim,microSD slots, microUSB port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The device Dimensions are really close to iPad Mini size, the tablet is really thin- look how it compare vs AA standard battery:
The Retina Screen:The Best Part about this tablet is it's Superb Retina OGS IPS panel - 2048x1536 resolution, 327pixel density!
Browsing web, Watching Movies, Playing games - You gonna enjoy from every second of it
The touch screen support muti-touch, support 10 points touch, the touch panel is accurate and responsive and I have no complaint.
The viewing angles are great as expected from high quality OGS IPS panel:

KitKat 4.4.2 on MTK6592Lately we see more and more device runnig KitKat on MTK SOC, IFive did great job making stable KitKat rom and it supports multi-language and OTA updates, it came with some Chinese apps that can be disabled or removed after gaining Root access.
The UI feels smooth and responsive.
Since I received it I have already got 2 new updates -seems that iFive really paying attention.

This Tablet is a Smartphone on steroids 
- it has both phone and tablet qualities. The call quality on the iFive mini 3GS was impressive-fill free to put 7.9" device near your ear -LOL.There's also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio and GPS on board. WiFi Test on 15mb/s internet connection:

Battery Life:
Octa Core + 2048x1536 7.9" screen and only 4050mAh battery-why iFive?, It could be nicer to get 4500mAh for this spec and price.I have only charged it 3 times- so it should be improved soon, I think the battery life is average for it's category- I will updated next week. Here is the battery log for watching movies on YouTube over WIFI, screen brightness on AUTO (daylight-indoor).
ConclusionI can say that I really liked this tablet, I think that 7.9" Retina tablets are the best form factor, they are big enough for any use and still you can hold your Tablet with the palm of your hand, it feels light and your hands don't get tired.
If only it could be more solid build without Creaking noise when pressed on the edges + 4500~5000mAh battery I would give it 10/10 Score. My score for this tablet would be : 8/10.
